EDUCATION
PURPOSE
One of the biggest challenges for any client is keeping staff up on regulatory changes and making sure all changes are implemented in a timely manner. The impact of not keeping up-to-date can be great in terms of reimbursement received, placement in quality ratings/rankings, risk liabilities and regulatory fines. Finding the time to conduct the education needed to keep the staff up-to-date can be difficult. YPRO can assist you.
YPRO Corporation offers education with all of its products. We identify problems, make recommendations and educate the staff by using the findings, their own work. In addition to the standard education provided within each service we offer customized in-service programs that address the client's other specific needs.
To develop the customized in-service programs YPRO will compile the needs of the client, the findings from an abbreviated review, denials received, and any regulatory correspondence received. Specific objectives are listed and agreed upon by the client. In-services are conducted allowing for plenty of exchange between presenter and attendees. Attendees are asked to provide feedback on the in-service. The feedback is summarized and presented to the client. In some cases YPRO will return to conduct a follow-up review to measure progress of the staff.
PHYSICIAN EDUCATION
Documentation is the number one compliance, quality and financial issue. Lack of specificity of documentation can lead to a host of problems in terms of patient care, liability issues, compliance issues, quality rating/ranking issues, and reimbursement issues. YPRO's consultants are experienced in working with physicians to assist improving accuracy of documentation. We can provide education one-on-one or in a group setting. Our programs exist to help the one physician or to assisting the whole house through YPRO's EMERGE program. If a client requests peer-to-peer education. YPRO has a group of experienced physician advisors ready to assist the client in meeting their needs.
STAFF EDUCATION
YPRO's staff of experienced consultants will provide the training, mentoring and follow-up to assist your staff with coding, understanding regulations, and/or implementing new coding changes. YPRO will empower your staff to perform optimally.
